The ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine has prompted local people to spring into action to send much needed to supplies to people displaced by the war.

Collection points included the Totally Community charity shop which was organised by Monika Malysz, who has worked at the shop for many years supporting various charities in Bromyard.

A collection point was also set up at Bromyard Travel Services where owners Jason & Jackie waved goodbye to your donations on Friday afternoon and were totally blown away with your generosity.
They  had enough to fill two vans from their collection point! all on its way to meet the HGV at Gloucester for loading and delivery over the weekend.
From your cash donations they have spent over £650 locally in the town buying goods and much needed medical supplies to go over, plus what the locals have all donated.
They would like to thank every single one of you, its an amazing achievement in such a short space of time and Hereford Help For Ukraine will be so touched with your support and generosity.  Jason & Jackie would also like to mention a special extra well done to the below for your support and donations as you certainly went that extra mile.

  • Bromyard Pharmacy
  • Queen Elizabeth High School
  • Rowden House School
  • Bromyard Hope Centre
  • Bredenbury Pancake Lunch & Raffle
  • JH Halling Carpets & Flooring

Everyone’s donations will make a difference and somebody over in Ukraine and the border areas, they will be very, very thankful for what has been given and to know you are thinking of them. well done all.

These acts of kindness have been repeated not only in the UK but all over Europe.

Our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine at this difficult time
